Rev. Oprah Winfrey

That's the title some of Oprah's fans think we should give her, or so says the WashPo's Eugene Robinson in this op-ed piece on her recent "Live Your Best Life" tour stop in Washington.

Oprah has always bothered me, mostly because I've found both her TV show and her other productions pretty shallow. Don't get me wrong, she does a lot of good things with her charity and her rise to success against difficult odds is truly a fulfillment of the American dream, but she is the woman who unleashed Dr. Phil on the world. Additionally, the "spirituality" she encourages is something along the lines of drinking champagne in a bubble-filled jacuzzi lined with candles after you've kicked your husband and children out for the night so you can get in touch with your inner self. Not to mention that she and her live-in boyfriend of a bazillion years, Stedman Graham, have never gotten married.

OK, I'm done complaining. For now.
